What do you like most about working in the nonprofit sector? I love the passion of everyone in the sector. Everyone wants to do good and make the world a better place.
What do you like to do in your spare time? I enjoy teaching jazz and classical trombone lessons to students at a few different high schools. What I love about teaching is that I learn just as much from my students as they learn from me.
What is your favorite hidden gem in Chicagoland? Kabobi Persian and Mediterranean Grill at Lawrence and Kedzie. Best Persian food in Chicago!
What's the craziest thing you've ever done? I worked as a campus bus driver at Indiana University. I once drove the night owl route to and from the local college bars on Halloween from 9:30 PM until 3:00 AM. It was crazy!
Favorite place to volunteer? Community Animal Rescue Effort C.A.R.E., a volunteer run animal shelter in Skokie. Stop by and visit to adopt a new friend!
At what age did you become an adult? In my opinion, I'm still a child at heart! I love video games, board games, mini golf, and have a major sweet tooth.
Any hidden talents? I enjoy baking bread & sweets, cooking, writing & arranging jazz music, and wine pairing.
