In November 2021, I completed Kellog’s course, Leading Innovation in Nonprofits. This has gotten me a step closer to earning my Scholar Certification in Nonprofit Leadership. Over the course of four days, I collaborated with other non-profit leaders to learn how to build an innovative culture and solve complex problems by thinking outside of the box. I also learned how to use constraints and barriers to my advantage when building new projects. Finally, I learned about the different roles necessary to build an innovative team which is invaluable information to me as a non-profit leader.
I am excited to use this newfound knowledge in my work. Given the current pandemic, my colleagues and I must innovate daily to continue meeting the needs of the young people in our programs. The financial support that YNPN provided has not only impacted me, but also my colleagues and Urban Initiatives’ young people. Thank you for your support.
