Bear Necessities Pediatric Cancer Foundation is a national 501(c)3 organization founded in 1992 by President, Kathleen A. Casey and her son, Barrett “Bear” Krupa, who lost his life to pediatric cancer in 1993. Its mission is to eliminate pediatric cancer and to provide hope and support to those who are touched by it. Currently, Bear Necessities funds pediatric cancer research and information & support services grants nationwide.
