PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
A
central part of YNPN Chicago's mission is to provide support and
resources for young nonprofit professionals. In this regard, YNPN
Chicago's professional development:
- Provides educational opportunities for members to learn more about various policies and topics that affect their work.
- Coordinates skill building seminars, panels, and other events that strengthens our members' abilities in their nonprofit career.
- Serves as a resource for members seeking out advice and assistance for professional development needs.
The
events that are currently offered through YNPN Chicago's Professional
Development programs include seminars, panels and policy round table
discussions. In the future, our plans also include a new mentorship
program, book club meetings, a speakers bureau, and discounts for
professional development opportunities offered by partner
organizations.

we are member driven, we would also like to hear what kinds of topics
you would like our Professional Development Co-Chairs to coordinate.
