    The event of the year for Chicago-area nonprofit professionals!
     

    Each year, YNPN Chicago organizes a large scale event to celebrate the work of the thousands of young professionals who help bring Chicago's vibrant nonprofit community to life. This year's event promises to be the biggest and brightest yet.  

    Please join us on Wednesday, January 31st at the new McCormick Tribune Freedom Museum on Michigan Avenue, as we celebrate all of your hard work over the past year.

    Date: Wednesday, January 31st 
    Time:  6:00-8:00 PM
    Location:  McCormick Tribune Freedom Museum – 445 N. Michigan Ave.

    Featured Guest:  Arne Duncan, CEO of Chicago Public Schools
    Tickets: $15 through January 29th pre-registration deadline / $20 at the door (if space is available)
    Drink Wristband (optional)*: $10

    *Non-alcoholic beverages are included with each registration.  However, when you pre-register, optional wristbands are available for $10 that allow guests access to an open beer & wine bar for the duration of the event.  

    Each registration fee includes:

    • complimentary admission to the Museum;
    • served hot & cold hors d'oeuvres;  
    • non-alcoholic beverages (water, soft drinks, etc.)
    • a brief program including remarks from our featured guest;
    • a chance to win some fantastic door prizes; 
    • and most importantly, the opportunity to network with hundreds of professionals from across greater Chicagoland's nonprofit community.

    Please register now, as space is limited to the first 250 tickets sold.

    After-Party:  Also, please plan to join us at the after-party for continued networking after the event concludes. Timothy O'Toole's will be hosting the after-party, beginning immediately after the event at 8:00pm. Timothy O'Toole's is located just a short walk away from the Freedom Museum at 622 Fairbanks. They are reserving a large space in the bar exclusively for YNPN, and will be offering food and drink specials including $5 Finlandia U-Call-Its, and $6 Finlandia Martinis. Look for fliers at the event that will include a map of how to get to the bar and listing all of the food and drink specials being offered.

    Located in the heart of Chicago along the Magnificent Mile, the McCormick Tribune Freedom Museum is located in the first two floors of the historic Tribune Tower.  

    Directions:

    The Tribune Tower is easily accessible via public transit, from the Grand stop on the Red Line, the Randolph stop on the Brown, Green, Orange, Pink, and Purple Lines, and a variety of CTA buses.

    If you are driving, the Tribune Tower is also accessible from Lake Shore Drive and 90/94.  Street parking is difficult, but several paid parking lots are located nearby.
